What made you want to write?
- I've always been a voracious reader but never considered writing. Then, in 2002, we were waiting to travel to Russia to adopt our daughter. It was excruciating, waiting everyday for the phone to ring. One day, I came home from work and started typing on my desktop. Three weeks later, I had written 100, 000 words. Fast forward 15 years, and too many edits to count, and Coming Home was released.
How do you decide on Character names?
- They just sort of come to me.
What is your most favorite book you have written?
- Coming Home, my first, is still my favorite. I know it's not the best. I feel each book gets better from everything I am learning. But it is the book of my heart.
What is your favorite book you have read?
- I absolutely cannot pick just one. Anything by Jill Shalvis, Susan Mallery, Kristan Higgins, and any number of other lovely romance writers.
What do you do in your free time?
- Free time? What's that? I LOVE to watch my children play soccer.
